Sikkens Clearcoat Raises Bar on Sustainable Efficiency

Sustainable, High-Performing and Profitable Clearcoat

Autoclear EnergySelect LV is formulated to maximize energy savings and streamline operational processes.

With the introduction of AkzoNobel’s next generation Sikkens Autoclear EnergySelect LV urethane clearcoat, body shops across North America can achieve sustainable efficiency, performance and profitability in a universal, two-pack option.

Autoclear EnergySelect LV is formulated to maximize energy savings and streamline operational processes. Compatible with the Sikkens’ Autowave and Autobase Plus systems, this low-bake clearcoat meets VOC (<250 gm/liter VOC, 2.0 lbs./gal.) regulations across all North American regions and performs well in virtually every temperature condition. A built-in flex additive also enables super easy application, excellent resistance to surface contamination and quick, dust-free dry times to help speed booth production.

“Today’s shop owner is seeking sustainable refinish solutions that help them stay compliant and efficient, without compromising the performance quality their customers require,” said AkzoNobel Vehicle Refinishes North America Product Manager Dhruv Parekh. “With Autoclear EnergySelect LV, they can expect enhanced performance and productivity while reducing their carbon footprint at the same time. This innovative clearcoat is a great example of AkzoNobel’s dedication and commitment to sustainability.”

Sikkens Autoclear EnergySelect LV’s simplified mix ratios and extended pot life make it the ideal choice for complete jobs or for use with the auto-dosing Manual Proportioning Unit (MPU).
