The Mirror reported that Google will pay people $20 per hour to be driven around in one of its driverless cars six to eight hours a day, five days a week.
The company has put out a job ad for “vehicle safety specialists” in Phoenix. Applicants must have a clean driving record and be able to type at least 40 words per minute. Vehicle safety specialists will be required to complete daily reports, and document procedures and tests.
