CARSTAR has announced the opening of CARSTAR Geneva Body Shop in Batavia, Ill.

Owner Pasquale Roppo has been in the collision repair industry for over 35 years. Originally from Italy, Roppo moved to the U.S. and got a job working at a body shop, growing his skills as a repairer but also as a businessman.

“Learning from others, I was able to see the things I liked and did not like on the job, until I eventually had enough saved up that I could open up my own facility on April Fool’s Day in 2010,” said Roppo. “Since then, I was able to grow my business and move into this larger facility, but now I feel like I pushed it as far as I could by myself, which is why I joined CARSTAR.”

CARSTAR Geneva Body Shop is a 25,000-square-foot facility equipped with the latest tools to repair all makes and models. On the road to becoming I-CAR Gold, the team also has vast experience in repairing exotic and luxury vehicles.

“We have lots of owners in the CARSTAR network who work hard to build their operations, but feel like they hit a standstill at a certain level,” said Dean Fisher, collision group president, Driven Brands. “When owners like Pasquale join the CARSTAR family, it is exciting to see their enthusiasm to grow, and we are happy to help them achieve these goals.”

Eager to continue giving back to the community they serve, Roppo and his team look forward to support various causes important to Batavia, while also supporting the CARSTAR charity of choice, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
