Keenan Auto Body Acquires Two Collision Repair Centers in Chester County, Pa.

The repair centers, previously known as Bavarian Collision, are now in operation.

Keenan Auto Body has acquired two collision repair centers in Avondale and Kennett Square, Pa., President and COO Michael LeVasseur announced. The repair centers, previously known as Bavarian Collision, are now in operation. With these additions, Keenan Auto Body now owns and operates 11 collision repair centers throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.

"The acquisition of both Bavarian locations is in line with our strategy of expanding into select target markets and growing our network of repair centers," said Craig Camacho, Keenan Auto Body marketing director. "We’re very pleased to have once again expanded our footprint and to be able to serve more of the customers in the Southern Chester County area, and we are already operational to do just that."

Keenan says its two new locations, Keenan Auto Body of Avondale and Keenan Auto Body of Kennett Square, have been outfitted with the latest state-of-the-art equipment available.

"With a combined production area of over 20,000 square feet and the potential for an additional $5 million in annual revenue, these two locations will increase our market share in a very competitive market," said LeVasseur. "We are looking forward to providing our new expanded customer base the kind of quality and service our customers have come to expect throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware."

Founded in 1952 by Joseph T. Keenan and acquired by his son Donald in 1979, the family owned collision centers are the largest non-dealer MSO in the Southeast region of Pennsylvania and Middletown, De.
