Houston Business Leader, Chris Abraham, Appointed President of Service King Collision Repair

Abraham succeeds Cathy Bonner, who was named Service King CEO.

Eddie Lennox, founder, chairman of the board and CEO of Service King Collision Repair Centers, announced new leadership appointments within the company. Lennox announced that Service King President Cathy Bonner is the new CEO, while Lennox will continue as chairman of the board. Moving into the president’s role is The Woodlands resident Chris Abraham, currently vice-president of the Houston market. Jeff McFadden will take the role of executive vice president.

Lennox said, "Service King has the best leadership team in the collision industry.  Cathy Bonner has added 17 new locations now covering 70 percent of the Texas population."

Lennox added that Bonner’s next goal is to lead the second growth phase making Service King a national company by adding assets beyond the Texas borders.

"This is the future leadership of Service King, and I am so excited about the possibilities for us," said Lennox. "This leadership team has combined, over 100 years of corporate business experience."

Abraham is a 1991 graduate of the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He joined Service King in 1995 as a service advisor and worked his way up from location manager to corporate management, being named vice-president for the Houston market in 2009. He is responsible for the growth of the Houston market that started with one collision center in 2009. He added three additional locations with the D&D and Callaway Collision Specialist acquisition.  Today, there are 11 Service King locations in the Houston area, Baytown, Pearland, Katy and Conroe.
