The latest media outlet to delve into the topic is USA Today, which surveyed nearly a dozen states on their readiness to accommodate the widespread adoption of self-driving technology.

The survey “reveals varying degrees of readiness as officials balance anticipating a huge shift in mobility with a reluctance to spend limited infrastructure funds on the wrong improvements,” Marco della Cava explains in the article.
