South Dakota Abra Owners Win Top Gun Award

Mike Brown, Doug Sharp and Chet Lockwood, owners of Abra Brookings, Abra Faribault, Abra Watertown and Abra Mitchell in South Dakota, were recently named winners of the Abra Top Gun Award.

Mike Brown, Doug Sharp and Chet Lockwood, owners of Abra Brookings, Abra Faribault, Abra Watertown and Abra Mitchell in South Dakota, were recently named winners of the Abra Top Gun Award at the Driven Brands U.S. collision conference in Kissimmee, Fla.

Abra’s Top Gun Award is presented to multi-store owners who embody the Abra mindset in everything they do.

With more than two decades of ownership prior to joining the Abra network, these owners have maintained operational excellence in every facet of the business while effectively and efficiently managing four locations. The best-in-class service they provide is evidenced by their 4.8 Google Star rating based on more than 600 satisfied customer reviews. Abra Brookings and Abra Waterdown also place an emphasis on community engagement, hosting events with local partners such as the Uncle Sam Jam this past summer.

“We are so proud of our team,” said Longwood. “We could not do what we do without them, and could not have achieved this recognition. We made the transition to Abra more than two years ago and we retained all of our employees. They are a great group of people.”

The awards were presented at a gala event where Abra, CARSTAR and Fix Auto USA franchise partners gathered to celebrate the inaugural Driven Brands U.S. collision repair joint conference, along with Driven Brands team members, vendors, and industry leaders from across the U.S.
